Sunrise Rotary Club
Mission Statement
Missoula Sunrise Rotary actively supports youth at risk while embracing the Rotary International seven areas of focus: promoting peace; fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene; saving mothers and children; supporting education; growing local economies and supporting the environment
Major Club Activities
The Sunrise Rotary Club’s local focus is on youth at risk.
We plan and execute activities for the youth in the Gallagher Youth home and the Sunrise Youth home.
Our national and international focus is that of Rotary in supporting the eradication of polio, pursuit of clean water, promoting peace and support well-being for all, and promotion of literacy.
Regular Events
The Sunrise Rotary Foundation accompanies the youth home kids on ski trips, rafting trips, pumpkin carving, bike trips, basketball games, spring yard cleanup at the youth homes, Christmas gift exchange, etc.
We also provide dictionaries to all 3rd graders in Missoula schools and surrounding areas every fall. The last two years we have been helping with bike assembly and donations of bikes for all of the Montana Native American Nation’s youths’.
Our only regular fundraising event is the Magnificent 7 Golf Tournament. It is every September and the date is always on our website a couple of months in advance. You can get information from the website or contact any of our officers about this event.
